DIY Pinecone Wedding Garland

Today’s project is inspired by the simple beauty of woodland materials! If you are looking for minimalist rustic wedding decorations, this might just be the solution for you! The beauty of this project is that it is so easy and adaptable to what you want it to be! We mixed bells, greens and pinecones for our garland but you could add in photographs, flowers or any other variations to fit your decorative needs. We love the clean look of this decor combined with the natural look of the materials. It really defines Rustic Chic style! Another great thing about this tutorial is that it is SO easy! It would be a very fun activity to include your flower girls in as it is totally child friendly. You can also make lots and lots of it if you are trying to decorate a large area on a low budget. There is also no need for perfection in spacing because some randomness can add a lovely quality to the garland. If you want to make it less minimalist, move everything closer together. If you are looking for something super subtle, you can space your items further apart or limit your garland to just pinecones. What You’ll Need : Scissors / White Rope / Small Pinecones / Fresh Leather Greens / Small Bells

1. Cut your leather greens into small sprigs.

2. Leaving yourself at least a foot of extra rope at one end, tightly tie your rope and double knot around the back knob of a pine cone.

3. About six inches down, thread a bell onto the rope and tie it off so that it hangs down a few inches. You can vary this from bell to bell to give it some randomness.

4. About six inches further down, tightly tie the stem of the leather green to the rope with the sprig facing down. You may need to double knot it!

5. Hang in your desired place for an elegant and minimalist rustic wedding decoration! Ideally it is best if you can hang your garland in a place where it can catch the breeze and the bells ring quietly!
