This vintage wedding took place at an Indiana rustic wedding venue but as the bride states below it was not on a farm or in a barn but yet at a beautiful mansion that was able to create a southern style wedding filled with rustic and vintage wedding details. From the bride: Contrary to what a reader may think, not all Indiana brides live on a farm or have the luxury of hosting their wedding in a barn. Our October wedding was in my hometown of Carmel which is a lovely Midwestern city about 20 minutes from downtown Indy. The plan was to have the entire day outside but like so many outdoor weddings – that plan changed a couple of days beforehand due to the above average chilly temperatures. Our ceremony took place inside The Mansion at Oak Hill, a beautiful venue best explained as a Southern Plantation-looking property – white pillars and all!
