1. Invitations

When you are ready announce the big day, there are multiple memorable and eco-friendly ways to share the news with your loved ones. Consider printing your invitations on recycled paper or, better yet, go digital! This is one of the simplest ways to set your wedding planning off on a sustainable path while still having endless creative opportunities.
2. Silk Wedding Flowers

Go green with Something Borrowed Blooms! They’re an eco-friendly, rent and return silk wedding floral boutique. With rented wedding flowers, you can have the same beautiful bouquets without feeling guilty about having to throw away fresh florals. These silk wedding flowers are always on trend and make for a picture perfect moment!
3. Confetti Alternatives

One of our favorite elements to incorporate into a wedding celebration is to shower the married couple with confetti. To make this a more earth-conscious option we suggest using flower petals or leaves to shower the newlywed couple. Not only is it environmentally friendly and hassle-free, but it will also make for some seriously amazing photos!
4. Decor

Decor sets the stage for your wedding day. Vintage and DIY elements, like using glass bottles for vases and sourcing vintage furniture, can be both eco-friendly and stylish. And when you’re planning decor, don’t forget to look to nature! If you’re having an outdoor ceremony or reception, consider skipping elaborate decor for a beautiful less-is-more look.
5. Giving Back

Another great way to promote sustainability is to donate your decorations after the wedding. There are so many great organizations to donate your gown, decor, and accessories to make someone else’s dreams come true. You can also promote your favorite cause at your wedding or bridal shower to get all the guests involved and make a difference by giving back!
