Today’ real wedding was a DIY style rustic wedding with a beautiful barn as a backdrop. Taking place at Midway Village Museum Center in Rockford, Illinois, this wedding has a beautiful yellow color theme and fall rustic wedding ideas. From the bride: We had a fall, rustic inspired wedding at a museum center in Rockford, IL. The museum center has a Victorian Era Village and an old 1905 barn where the wedding took place. Our ceremony was next to the barn in front of a tomato garden. The reception took place inside the barn with homebrewed beer by the groom, a pie contest and a bluegrass band. The bridesmaids were told to wear a dress close to mustard and to express themselves while the groomsmen sported wool bow ties and suspenders. It was a beautiful, down to earth wedding with a lot of DIY elements that made it relaxed and fun for all! Thanks to SweetCheeks Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
