Not only did we find Leighton & Paige’s wedding to be truly beautiful, we loved what the bride had to say about planning their wedding. From the Bride : Leighton and I had a long engagement. I had plenty of time to think about what I wanted, but we always had a common factor in our plans: Family. We really wanted everything to feel like us, to be comfortable and fun, and that is why we chose to have our wedding at my parents house. Everything we used for our wedding decor was basically out of our own collection of nick knacks or family heirlooms. My mother and I designed and created the invitations, programs, bouquets, boutonnieres, and flower arrangements – which I picked out of my grandparent’s yard. I loved how every aspect of the our day was a collaboration of effort from our family… My advice for those currently planning a wedding is to stay true to your ideas. Everyone gets really excited about a wedding and wants to advise, but don’t let anyone change your mind on the type of day you want to have. Even if it seems odd or unique to some, DO IT! My favorite things about our wedding were the details that were unique and unexpected. Thank you to Lindsey Pantaleo for sharing these gorgeous images with us!
