Country Yellow Themed Wedding

Taking place at the country chic venue the Heartwood House in Tennessee  this yellow themed wedding has pretty much everything you would want for an elegant southern style wedding. From the great barn wedding location to the perfect country wedding decorations this wedding just went to the top of my favorites list. Thanks to Amy Hutchinson Photography for sharing this amazing wedding with us today.

From the bride: Our Southern roots were displayed through simple rustic details. Gerald & Joan Design created handmade yellow and gray polka dot and chevron bunting and LOVE letters, sourced vintage props for our guest book and favor displays and designed a personalized guestbook as well as rustic, vintage-inspired stationery for the special day. Our wedding favors — yellow and gray chocolate covered Oreos, pretzels, and marshmallows covered in edible pearls and sprinkles — were placed in a vintage suitcase with “thank you” bunting to thank all of our guests for sharing the day with us. Rustic birds and burlap were featured prominently throughout the event on the bride’s cake topper, guestbook pens, ring bearer’s pillow, reception chair bows and wedding ceremony programs, menus and signage. In addition to our yellow flowers, curly willows were added to the reception floral arrangements at the groom’s request. They were grouped with lanterns and mercury glass vases to add to the rustic yet elegant feel. Chris’ style was also present through his baseball-themed groom’s cake, which included a display of two Louisville Slugger baseball bats for guests to sign!
