If you have started your hunt for the perfect wedding gown you might be asking yourself a few questions, one, what do I want to look like on my wedding day and two, what should a rustic bride look like? Well, I am sure there are a million different answers out there but I a few pictures from my rustic wedding gown archives that I think really sum up a rustic chic bride. This post was originally written back in 2009 but I think the dresses are just perfect enough to show off again. All of these gowns offer a silhouette and a sensibility that would fit into your rustic wedding effortlessly. We are always looking for great wedding gowns to show off so if you have a suggestion or want us to post a pic of your gown head over to our FB page or email us.
I love how beautiful this bride looks with an almost effortless feel about her, plus I think the small amount of color on her dress really gives it that something extra all the while keeping the classic bride look.
The silhouette on this dress is amazing…hey, no one says you can’t wear a full skirt when having a rustic wedding! This dress is very similar to the one I wore on my own wedding day.
This dress seems to have the perfect mix of fantasy wedding dress and a nature inspired theme. Also, check out the small deatil of the green ribbon on this dress, such a small detail but has a great impact.
The hair alone in this shot is enough to get me excited let alone the amazing dress (J.Crew). Don’t cast out the idea of gold jewelry or accents just because at first they may not seem right for a rustic setting. Gold sometimes can be the perfect amount of sparkle and often times can add a touch of sophistication.
Due to the fact that this post was originally written back in 2009 not all of these dresses will be available. picture credit: Bride Magazine / J.crew

January 4, 2012 at 12:17 pmI would think that you could find something similar in style without the costly price tag! I know many brides who have had dresses copied and made for them by seamstresses at a fraction of the cost – always an option.

December 28, 2011 at 2:21 pmAll of these dresses came from Bride Magazine and they did not list the designers. I know the one with the gold dots was J.Crew.
