Taking place at the rustic Maryland wedding venue, Walker’s Overlook, this DIY style wedding is hands down stunning. From the bride: Walker’s Overlook is the perfect venue for the bride who loves vintage inspiration and DIY options. The farm house at Walker’s Overlook is full of vintage items and history. Plus, they have an enormous bridal suite and “man cave”! Wedding Planning-I am a HUGE planner, so I was more than ready to tackle wedding planning. I thought I had everything under control until my husband got offered a job June 2014 in NYC. One month later we had picked an apartment and moved my husband to NYC to start his new job. I stayed back home in Maryland for the summer so I could finish working and planning the wedding with help from my mom. It’s ironic that Justin and I started our dating relationship long distance and we ended it long-distance. We would see each other once a month, but the distance only strengthen our dedication…miles couldn’t keep us from staying together! Thanks to Rachel Smith Photography for sharing this wedding with us.
