Hello beautiful! My name is Hannah. I am a merchandising assistant for bridal & fashion accessories at David’s Bridal. I am so excited for this opportunity to share with you some of my favorite accessories for my Friday Favs roundup. Specifically, I want to share with you some of my favorite veils. Veils are one of the oldest traditions for brides. From classic to modern, to glamourous, or romantic, the options are endless when it comes to different styles for bridal veils. A huge trend we’ve seen in recent seasons is double veils! A double veil is a longer-length veil paired with a blusher veil. The blusher can be worn as a second layer to give more volume or over your face as you walk down the aisle. Ready to find the perfect combination for your wedding? Read on for my top double veil styles from David’s Bridal!

Romantic

cottagecore inspired double veil pairing

This double veil pairing is a twist on a modern cottagecore veil. These whimsical veils incorporate subtle pops of color and have a romantic feel with their mix of floral appliques, crystals, and pearl details. These were also made to match which means the mid-length veil and walking veil have very similar detailing, creating a seamless look for your must-have bridal accessory. I would love to style this double veil pairing with a sheath-style gown! I’m envisioning a dress with hints of blush, simple all-over ivory, or maybe even lace. A shorter train and long sleeves would be ideal if you’re looking for a head-to-toe cottagecore-inspired bridal look. Shop these styles here!

Glamorous

glamourous double veil pairing

This double veil pairing is the perfect way to add that little bit of sparkle. The crystal detailing on the edges of both veils reflects light beautifully and is guaranteed to sparkle and shine as you walk down the aisle. I would style this pairing with a sleek mermaid silhouette. The embellishments on your double veil will add a touch of glamour to your look. Shop these styles here!

Modern

modern two tier veil

Another way to achieve this double veil style is with a two-tier veil. This style of veil combines a mid-length veil and a blusher in one. The sleek and simplistic style of this two-tier veil will give any dress a modern touch. The subtle metallic pencil edge detailing adds the perfect amount of shine. I would pair this veil with an unembellished satin gown for a clean & modern vibe. You can even pair this double veil with a highly embellished gown if you’re looking to keep the focus on your dress. Shop this style here!

Trendy

This veil is a beautiful contemporary option for our trendy brides. It has a subtle beaded edging that will elevate any dress. The sparkles hit in all the right spots to enhance your desired dress silhouette and provide beautiful volume as you walk down the aisle. Shop this style here!
