Tell us about your wedding! What was the inspiration behind your day? Did you have a specific theme, style or color palette?
“Our inspiration was essentially a celebration of our love! It was really important to us for our night to feel like an intimate dinner party with our close family and friends. I feel like that is exactly what we achieved!” — Sarah
How did you meet? Tell us about the proposal.
“We are both Physician Assistants so everyone automatically thinks we met at work, but actually met on a dating app! We met for brunch for our first date, we stayed for hours and then ended up meeting up again that night for drinks! We both planned a proposal on the same day accidentally! We went to Canada for Keeley’s birthday and the place we were staying looked like a post card. I guess we both though that would be the perfect day of the trip for a proposal! Our favorite time together is having coffee in the morning, so I went across the square from our loft to get coffee and went for it when I got back! Then after I proposed she pulled out my ring and a beautiful letter she wrote me!” — Sarah
Did you personalize the day in any way (food trucks, guest entertainment etc.)? What were some of your favorite parts of your wedding?
“We personalized our day by taking dance lessons for our first dance! We had a great time taking the lessons together before and it was a great way to kick off the reception on our big day! It is really hard to pick any favorite parts because whole day was just incredible! But the food was super delicious which is always important! The specialty cocktails were also very tasty!!” — Sarah
Do you have any wedding planning or marriage advice that you’d like to share with other couples planning their day?
“The best advice I think would be to just stay focused on making the day for you and your partner. Any time we needed to make a tough decision, we just thought about if it was actually important to us and if it wasn’t we let it go! Also not to worry too much about the small things, the best thing about the day is getting to marry the person you love most and all the details you worry about during planning matter significantly less!” — Sarah
