Blending together country charm and wedding elegance might seem like a daunting task, but this bride took on the challenge and knew she could style her dream wedding. From the bride: The inspiration for our wedding revolved around an image in my mind of a crystal chandelier hanging from an old oak tree. We were torn between having an elegant wedding in the city or a casual country wedding. Marshall grew up in the city and Laura grew up in the country. Then it occurred it us we could have it all, why not bring the chandeliers and the city elegance to the country. My aunt had the perfect setting and was thrilled to host the wedding. She lives in the country just outside the small town of New London, and had lots of land which allowed us to have the ceremony and reception in one location. Thanks Brooke Ringdahl Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
