You want your skin to look flawless on your wedding day. One of the best tips for achieving that goal is to keep up with your hydration.

We don’t just mean use lotion after your shower and when you wash your face — though these are great ways to hydrate your skin.

Drinking adequate amounts of water will help to keep your skin looking firmer and less dry. Women should aim to drink at least 2.7 liters of water and men should aim for around 3.7 liters.

Water is believed to help your skin to look healthier by increasing the hydration levels of the stratum corneum layer of your skin.

Water also helps to cleanse your different body systems and allows them to function properly. By creating a healthier body altogether, your skin will follow having that beautiful wedding day glow you’re hoping to have.

Beauty Tip #2: Balance Your Microbiome

It may not seem intuitive, but one of the most important things you need to do to have great looking skin and hair for your big day, is to make sure you have a nourished and balanced gut microbiome.

Make sure to eat even a small meal or some snacks before your ceremonies. You’ll be doing so many things trying to soak in all of the moments you possibly can that eating dinner will more than likely get pushed to the wayside.

Make sure to eat some healthy snacks like fruits and vegetables to keep your sugar levels normal and tummy happy. It’s tempting to avoid eating, but make sure you put your health first.
