Located just outside of Montgomery, Alabama, The Oaks Plantation is a particularly inspiring wedding venue. Their giant oak tree was central to the theme of Brittany and Jonathan’s wedding, inspiring everything from the floral arrangements to the cake design. Twigs were woven into the boutonnieres and bound together the wildflower centerpieces. The couple incorporated charming vintage elements while keeping a minimal aesthetic. From the photographer : The day was carefully orchestrated to have perfect light from the slanting sun for the ceremony, cocktail hour and lawn games as dusk grew, dinner hour as the sun was setting, and a fun dance party outside in the tent after dark.
