Taking place at one of our favorite Texas wedding venues, Twisted Ranch, this wedding is truly a country girls dream. From the venue owner, the groom’s mother: Twisted Ranch was originally built for our (the groom’s) family to hang out on the weekends and hunt. It was originally built just as a place for us all to come together and as a retreat for us all to get away from our everyday hectic lives. When we bought the land, my husband and I decided to build an entire town. We wanted it to be similar to what you would have found back in the early 1900’s. We purposely built it to get away from the fast paced lives we all lead. What better way than to retreat back to an earlier period in our history when life moved at a much slower pace.
