Taking place at the beautiful Connecticut wedding venue, The Barns At Wesleyan Hills this wedding really stands out thanks to its bright yellow color pallet and near perfect wedding decorations. From the bride: The ceremony location felt so romantic and intimate with the beautiful willow trees along the lake. The moment I walked into the barn I was sold! This was my fairytale venue and the staff and food were out of this world! The DIY Aspects of our wedding: When I started wedding planning, I immediately envisioned a DIY, rustic country wedding. We chose a lot of nature and tree elements with our initials carved in. I wanted a wedding that felt romantic and personal so I felt there was no better way to show that than to do a lot of the details ourselves. My mom is a very creative party planner, which is where I get my love of planning and DIY. A big thank you to Christina Corneau Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
