Having an engagement photo session is a wonderful way to capture those special moments leading up to your wedding day and the start of your life together as a married couple. I have a country engagement session shot in California which I think is a wonderful example of what you should be looking for when planning your own engagement session. Some of the keys for having a successful engagement session is to one try to get to know the photographer and feel comfortable in front of the camera, if you are actually enjoying yourself that will show in the end product. Secondly, pick a location that is beautiful but also comfortable to spend a few hours at. Lastly, try your best to look like yourself. Wear clothes that you would in everyday life, don’t let the idea of the photo shoot change your idea of what you should look like… think natural, beautiful and happy!
