This magical New Hampshire farm wedding was captured in all its beauty by J. Harper Photography. She shared with us lots of information on this charming wedding from the bride herself! “Our ceremony and celebration were held at Bishop Farm in Lisbon, NH. The venue, with it’s beautiful barn, farmhouse, and cottages, was brought to life with the love and energy of the Bishop Farm family. We were fortunate to have the whole farm to ourselves for the weekend, which allowed us to invite our close family and friends to stay with us. We were wed in the barn and danced late into the night under the chandeliers (and barely noticed the rain). We found Bishop Farm through the magic of the Internet and it couldn’t have been a better fit. I would describe our wedding as vintage-rustic. We went with a soft palate of “dusty shale” paired with old world touches including vintage hot air balloons, antique bottles, and books. We both love antiques and the look and feel of “old world” items. We paired this with our love of the mountains and the rustic feel of the barn. Lots of DIY projects: fabric boutonnieres & corsages, hair pieces for the flower girls, escort cards, table numbers, garland for the chandeliers, favors and favor packaging and handcrafted beer from my dad.” What a wonderful family effort…and fantastic wedding!
