Los Angeles Rustic Wedding Venue: Carondelet House

It might surprise you (or maybe not) that I recently have been inundated with brides from the LA area asking for venue suggestions for a rustic type of space in the LA area. Kate, one of our contributing writers who works in LA turned me on to Carondelet House which is located in downtown LA. Constructed in 1928, this gorgeous property was built as an Italian Villa with an urban flair. With warm hardwood floors, expansive rooms, exposed brick walls, two exterior courtyards, high exposed beam ceilings and a beautiful fireplace, this is one of the freshest and most unique event venues available in Los Angeles. With fantastic natural light, incredible architectural detail, and a great variety of texture and shape your rustic LA wedding can’t go wrong when booking it at Carondelet House.

These photos literally made me say WoW!!! The archways are magnificent and the space is perfect for a wedding with 100-150 guests, and there is room to spare.

    Perfect. I LOVE it!
Wish I had heard about this site a few years ago when I was looking… We ended up doing a destination wedding in Julian at the Pine Hills Lodge which was also beautiful.

But I did find another L.A. area rustic chic venue that is lovely but a little pricey: The Saddlepeak Lodge. Check it out 2013 brides! http://www.saddlepeaklodge.com/
