This charing country wedding took place at the Garvey Family Farm and Wedding Barn just outside of Traverse City, Michigan. Rachel and Ryan were married in a field next to the beautifully restored 1800’s barn, which later hosted the reception. Almost all of the DIY touches were created by Rachel and her mom, their wonderful projects added warmth and family love to the ceremony and reception. Rachel arrived to the ceremony behind a banner proclaiming “Here Comes the Bride” adding more fun and mystery. She carried a beautiful brooch bouquet created with jewelry from a Great Aunt. Her gorgeous lace dress was teamed with a pair of brown cowboy boots for the ceremony and turquoise ones for the reception. Mint green was the color theme, perfect for a midwest summer wedding.
