Jennifer & Brian planned their wedding so that it would be full of special touches for all of their guests who had traveled from all over to be present. They welcomed their guests with gift bags filled with area info and snacks. Their wedding was full of country charm complete with burlap and mason jars and beautiful pink peonies. Little bird houses were given as escort cards, and guests were given personalized koozies in addition to flip flops for dancing! They also gave bags of flower petals to guests with their programs to toss at the end of the ceremony. All in all it was a beautifully classic country destination wedding for this North Carolina couple. From the Bride : Over half of our guests were from out of state and wanted to find a North Carolina location that could host a wedding and serve as a long weekend vacation for our family and friends. We had never been to the Boone/Blowing rock area until we started to look for wedding venue and fell in love at first sight. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was just right; cooler and less humid than our home town of Raleigh. The Crestwood was the perfect venue because it have enough rooms for our guests, and the best mountain view. It was the perfect place to host all the weekend events.
