Both Laura and Justin are from the north, but are southerns at heart, so they were married in their favorite city, Nashville, TN. Laura told us: “I found Green Door Gourmet after researching and researching online for farm venues around Nashville. I went and visited the venue with my sister and was blown away! Being an organic farm, they had so much space. They are very family oriented, and willing to help with whatever they could. It was a no-brainer to have our wedding there! We did a lot of DIY projects for the wedding. Justin was a big help with anything that required power tools like the cake stand, chalkboard stands, and whiskey barrels. Every detail from save the date and invitations to table numbers were all projects we did together. It was a fun way for us to enjoy the wedding planning process and save money!” The wedding date was also Flag Day so they added a pop of red. white and blue with small American flags. The bridesmaids wore short, soft-colored dresses and cowboy boots. The bouquets where made up of gorgeous pink peonies.
