Rustic Northern Illinois Wedding: Katryna + Pete

Today’s real rustic wedding came to us from a bride who tied the knot in a rustic style wedding in Northern Illinois. This wedding seems to combine a farm style wedding with a little touch of country. I love the ice blue bridesmaid dresses since this is one of the colors I often recommend to brides who are looking for a summer bridesmaid dress color. From the bride: My husband and I got married this summer on a hot Northern Illinois summer day. We planned and designed most of the wedding on our own.  We got married in our town’s Catholic church and had a tented reception at the Torstenson Conservation Education Center. We had a 3 man band, a DJ, great food and drink, sparklers and made a wish with our Chinese lanterns at the end of the night.  Thanks to Elite Photo for sharing this beautiful wedding with us today.
