If you are planning a rustic wedding the first stop in the planning process is to usually nail down a venue. With that said I know it is easier siad than done to find the perfect venue. If Austin, Texas sounds like a spot where you would like to tie the knot then you should be checking out the Vista West Ranch which is located in Dripping Springs, TX and only 20 minutes from Austin. I will be the first to admit that it has been awhile since we have posted about a rustic wedding location and that is due to the fact that we have been working incredibly hard on our venue guide and soon you will be able to search our guide to find a rustic wedding location that is perfect for your big day. Until we can roll out the entire rustic wedding venue guide I thought I would showcase one of my favorite venues. Since we first featured this location in a few of the real weddings Vinewood Plantation has be come a reader favorite. Located in Newnan, Georgia, Vinewood Plantation offers a beautiful location for your rustic wedding complete with a barn! Vinewood Plantation, located in historic Newnan, GA, is the ideal venue for your wedding ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner or special event. Built in 1852, this Georgia Plantation House and its Stables were fully renovated to include all of the contemporary amenities you need without sacrificing any of the Southern tradition and charm that you deserve. Looking to have a “kick up your heels” good time type of wedding? Then look no further than Marburger Farm. Located in historic Round Top, TX., Marburger Farm is nestled on 43 acres of rolling pastureland. Twelve historic buildings are available for your Texas wedding including a Dance Hall, Bingo Hall and Saloon!

What a find! If your planning a country wedding and hale from the Chicago-land or Wisconsin area you have to check out The Pavilion at Orchard Ridge Farms in Rockton, IL. In addition to The Pavilion, Orchard Ridge Farms is home to The Copperstone Inn, a luxury Bed and Breakfast, and even an organic apple orchard. One of the newest wedding venues in the area, this location can host weddings up to 400 people- so don’t worry about cutting back on the guest list!
