Amy and Neil were very hands on with their wedding planning and they DIY’d everything; as she says everything was either made or rummaged for! From stuffing tiny envelopes with tissues for happy tears (which the little girls thought was so funny!) to hand stitching all of the table numbers, to building a wooden frame for the 700 vintage postcards, which were used as escort cards and on the table tops. She had a newspaper printed for guests to enjoy while waiting for the ceremony with funny stories about how they met, which she had written with her friend who is an amazing writer and blogger in St. Louis. And when Amy was disappointed to find out exactly how expensive letterpress invitations are, Neil and her father-in-law surprised Amy by custom building her a small wooden press to hand press her own invitations. Thanks to Cassidy Parker Smith Photography for sharing this lovely wedding.
