A Vintage Rustic Style Real Wedding

Rustic Vintage Wedding

This amazing vintage wedding was actually featured on Rustic Wedding Chic back in 2011 and has become one of our most popular weddings of all time. I still receive emails from readers who are looking for info about this wedding, how it was planned and who designed the wedding gown. I wanted to re-post this wedding to introduce all of our new readers to its beautiful look, effortlessly simple style and amazing vintage wedding ideas. This real wedding mixes the classic rustic style with vintage items to get a beautiful look. The combination of vintage items like mason jars fit in seamlessly with the more rustic details like the menu printed on slices of wood. One of the ways that this wedding really captures the vintage feel is by using the soft purple color pallet and then working it into the flowers, bridesmaid dresses and other wedding details. Purple is often a color that is left off many brides wedding colors list but after you see this wedding I think you might think twice before crossing it off. Thank you to Krista Lee Photography for letting us feature this wedding way back in 2011 and again today!

This is the dress I bought for my wedding and it is stunning! It’s almost identical to the one in the pictures, just with a modified sash.

Located in North Alabama, our event barn has the perfect venue for your rustic yet elegant wedding. We are also one of Alabama’s oldest and largest sheep farms. Makes for a beautiful backdrop.

Maggie, I appreciate all you have done, but I don’t think that is the dress. The buttons on the back only go to the butt. The one you suggested has buttons going all the down the dress. I maybe wrong, but if you could take another look we would surely appreciate it!!! Thank you so much…
