Wisconsin Barn & Farm Wedding: Maren + Nick

If you are lucky enough to find a farm with a barn for your wedding well in my eyes then you are lucky enough and everything else is just icing. Maren and Nick found a great looking private farm with a barn in Wisconsin and rented it for their special day. Todays’s real wedding is a Wisconsin rustic wedding which took some good old fashioned hard to work to make the wedding and its decor come to life. The bride’s mother collected the vintage bottels for the vases and even created all of the floral arrangements along with her father creating the place card display and  iron candelabras. One trend that is popping up right now is the skeleton key theme and this wedding features them in their place cards, on the table numbers, brides bouquet and in the men’s boutonniere. My favorite detail from this wedding is that the couple served cookies and milk fresh from the farm as dessert, which really makes the farm to table movement a reality! Thanks to Studio Laguna Photography for sharing this beautiful wedding with us today!

How did you go about finding a private farm? Was it a friend/family friend that you knew or did you find them somewhere? Sorry for all the questions but we have been looking for a barn and can’t find one anywhere! You’re answer to these questions would help tremendously! Thank you!!!!

We’re planning a farm wedding in Oconomowoc WI and we just went to the farmers market and asked around to see if anyone would be willing to host our wedding or if they knew anyone that does things like that. I would try that. Good luck!!!
