Wedding inspiration can come from anywhere or anything and this wedding takes its inspiration from the iconic movie, The Wizard of Oz! The bride wore ruby red slippers down a yellow “brick” road created by the flowers thrown by the flower girls. From the photographer: Maggi and Colin’s rustic, open air wedding was intimate and sentimental. As a young girl, Maggi’s favorite movie was The Wizard Oz. She always dreamed of subtly incorporating it into her wedding. At her ceremony, the flower girl dropped yellow petals down the aisle to create the beloved yellow brick road. Maggi made her magical entrance wearing ruby, red slippers while Judy Garland’s voice sang “Somewhere over the Rainbow.” Thanks to Mindy Webb Photography for sharing this lovely wedding with us today.
