When I first laid eyes on this vintage chic inspiration shoot that all you brides out there would be wanting more so I decided to make this feature a two parter. This fun 1970’s style wedding inspiration features some really creative decor ideas and the overall “summer love” feeling to it is just awesome. Here is some background information about the shot from the photographer, Jonthan Ivy: This styled wedding shoot was created to show those with a small budget but big creativity that it does not take a lot of people, time and “to do” to create a beautiful event. The dress being worn by the bride was a dress worn by the designer’s grandmother in 1970’s to her daughter’s wedding. The signs and flowers were hand made and created from flowers that last longer than a day like succulents and air plants. The van belongs to a friend. The blankets, pillows and desk were all brought from home. This Free Love Wedding was mostly DIY and built on the basis of love! See more from this vintage style inspiration shoot.
