5 Inexpensive Wedding Favors

Inexpensive wedding favors

Who are we kidding, the cost of a wedding adds up faster than you can blink so if you are looking for one area you can save a little money (and your sanity) think about going with cute yet inexpensive wedding favors. Now, just because these wedding favors that I curated for you today are on the inexpensive side does not mean they have any less charm about them than an extravagant favor. All of these favors can be bought from the sources I listed online but if you are craft or have a little DIY’ness to you they can be made at home as well. I must have been hungry when I wrote this post because all of the favors I picked are food!

1. Jam Favors

A simple x-small canning jar, some fabric and a computer printed label is all you need to make this favor awesome. If you are not able to make the jam yourself think about heading to a local farm and seeing if they can make it for you.

2. Granola

Granola can be super yummy and super cheap when you buy in bulk. Team up this yummy morning treat with a small mason jar, a small kraft paper bag or even a small tin. All of these containers can be found at local and online craft and restaurant supply stores.

3. Lollipops

Okay, making a lollipop might be only suitable for the true DIY divas out there but I thought this horseshoe one was super cute and would look really sweet at a barn or farm wedding. Guests young and old will enjoy this sweet treat.

4. Cookies

Enlist the help of your bridesmaids, family and friends in the days leading up to the wedding and bake a few dozen batches of cookies. Wrap them in simple clear bags with a cute string and a label and you can even go one step beyond that add the recipe to the back of each package.

5. Muffins

Get your grandmother to offer up your favorite muffin recipe that she has made you since you were young and package one for all your guest. Guests might enjoy these as a late night snack as they leave the wedding or first thing the next morning.
