This beautiful early summer wedding took place at the prestigious Morton Arboretum near Chicago, Illinois. Becky Brown Photography captured this charming wedding and shared her thoughts with us. “When Matt and Melissa chose the Morton Arboretum for their wedding they wanted to incorporate all that mother nature has to offer into their day. They set the tone with invitations made from sustainably harvested birch trees by Wood Chick that are biodegradable. Melissa’s mom took DIY to the next level making the majority of them herself! From wood signage and cake stand, to burlap table runners, mason jars and tree slices as centerpieces.” The mission of the Arboretum is to collect and study trees, shrubs, and other plants from around the world. We love this dramatic setting among the beautiful hedges and trees for this outdoor summer wedding. Remember to think about parks, botanical gardens and arboretums as beautiful alternative wedding venues. Find inspiration from these featured weddings in outdoor spaces.
