This Greek Orthodox Wedding took place at the family’s church in Tucson, AZ and was followed by a sunset reception overlooking the city from the family’s back yard. From the photographer : This wedding was rich with tradition and celebration. The Greek Orthodox ceremony was beautifully ornate as the couple was bathed in light filtering through the stained glass walls of the church. The reception that followed at their family’s house was full of food and laughter and dancing! All of the delicious food was made by members of the family, who had all been preparing for weeks for this event. Following their ceremony, their backyard reception was as intimate as it was boisterous! This young couple was so in love and their family members all fully participated in celebrating their union. The couple chose to keep the decor minimal and let the setting speak for itself. They also added small touches of their own personality, for example the bride carried a white rose bouquet but spiced things up with a beautiful red flower in her hair. While the color at this wedding was so bright, the black and white photographs really captured all of the movement and liveliness and light that was what made this wedding totally unique! These photographs come to us by way of one of our own, Maggie Romano, of MCR WEDDINGS!
