Today we have a rustic, elegant backyard wedding that will make you want to start asking friends and family if you can borrow their backyard for your wedding. From the photographer: Taylor and Alex were married on a warm, sun-filled day in September. A family friend lent her beautiful private estate in Sudbury, Massachusetts to be used as the venue. Taylor and Alex had their first look under an old oak tree in a secluded corner of the property. Their ceremony was held on a small hill in the backyard, and the pair said their vows surrounded by loved ones as light streamed through a beautiful ceremony arch adorned with rustic flowers. Thanks to Wonderbliss for sharing this wonderful wedding with us today.
Taylor and Alex initially bonded over their mutual love of music, so music played a central role in their celebration. Bluegrass band “The Tricky Britches” provided music for both the ceremony and reception. Alex himself is a member of the band “Chasing Blue,” and he even took to the stage for a guest appearance at the end of the night.
Taylor and Alex incorporated so many details that made their wedding personal and beautiful. Guests enjoyed lawn games during the cocktail hour, dined on delicious food and desserts from Off the Vine Catering and Twist Bakery and Café. The rustic, elegant floral design provided by Hartman’s Herb Farm was fragrant with herbs and full of greenery and colorful blooms. Taylor wore a classic lace gown and accessorized with family heirlooms. The couple’s beloved Corgi even sported a purple bow tie!
