I am so thrilled to share today’s wedding with you since I had a chance to hear about this wedding way before it actually happened. The bride, Ashlie Kolb is a TV personality for The Better Show and over the past few months had shared her ideas for her wedding with me and promised to share the final wedding pics as well. This wedding is the perfect blend of elegance and country charm and sums up perfectly the look that so many brides are trying to achieve. From the bride: The inspiration behind our wedding was country glamour. I’m a TV host, my husband is a farmer, so its a perfect mix of our worlds. My wedding colors were all soft country colors: blush pink, ivory and nude. Having the reception in the barn at County Line Orchard was the perfect choice. The barn itself was so beautiful in the inside with all the wood beams and rustic features but to give the barn a more glamorous feel we hung ivory draping and white lighting which really dressed the barn up. Thanks to Myrick Studios and Ashlie Kolb for sharing this amazing wedding with us today!
We were married at Our Lady of Sorrows church in Valparaiso and to add a bit of country to our ceremony we had the ring bearers in cowboy hats and boots. We had the flower girls in pink cowboy boots and matching tutus with custom embellished belts.
The center pieces were crystal vases mixed in with fresh flowers on some tables and branches with crystals hanging from them on other tables. The soft pink table runners resembled the roses on my wedding dress and gave a pop of color to the ivory table clothes and wooden chairs. We also had custom dance floor decals with our initials on the dance floor. The wedding favors were jars of Red Gold salsa, my husband is a tomato farmer, so it was very fitting. My bridesmaid bouquets were made out of baby’s breath and wrapped in ivory burlap, then we added antique broaches to each bouquet to give it a touch of glamour.
