Outdoor weddings in the fall and winter call for more than a dress and veil to keep the bride warm! We have seen some gorgeous fur cover-ups in weddings here on the blog so we wanted to share some with in this chilly weather! The choice of heirloom or new, faux or real is totally up to each bride, and these brides chose so well for their weddings! Snuggle up and enjoy these wintry inspirations!
Vintage White Fur Coat : This bride chose a vintage white fur coat to accompany her vintage themed wedding in late fall. It was a truly gorgeous decision. Here she is wearing it draped over her shoulders, bouquet in hand as her groom escorts her outside. A larger jacket will keep you warmer than a shrug or stole, and we love the option of wearing it more like a cape than a coat as she is here.
Vintage White Fur Stole : This vintage garden wedding was on the chilly side so the bride opted for a lush white stole. This is a lovely option for brides because it leaves most of the dress visible while still keeping your shoulders warm! And as you can see, they photograph so beautifully!
Mink Coat : This mink coat adds a rich color and texture to the bride’s ensemble. The dark browns and reds in the fur go beautifully with the forrest setting for a beautiful woodland aesthetic.
Faux Fur Stole : This bride opted for faux fur ( a statement we love ) that looks so real and so soft we want to reach into the photograph and touch it! This is a perfect option for both warmth and style! It draped beautifully over her shoulders and giver her a soft, cozy look that fit perfectly with her wedding ambiance!
Fur Scarf : This bride kept her dress in the forefront, opting for a simple fur scarf to keep her warm! This is a perfect option if you want something to keep the chill away without covering up your beautiful wedding dress! It’s also a much more contemporary look in this context but could be incorporated into a vintage style wedding quite easily.
What a beautiful feast for the eyes!! And a fabulous way to start the new year 🙂 Can’t wait to see what stunning weddings grace this site pages in 2014…
