This stunning wedding inspiration showcases pure elegance. With a focus on blue and white china and with a touch of orange, this amazing shoot makes us want to plan an English Countryside wedding today! Taking place at the Maine rustic wedding venue, Granite Ridge Estate & Barn, this shoot shows off the best of what this venue has to offer. From the planner: At of the age of 12 I found myself loving antiques, and all things old. Once I was old enough to start antique shopping, I found myself attracted to blue and white china, both from Japanese art and English Staffordshire. From the years of collecting, I knew I wanted to pair this intensely famous and timeless look with a modern spin of golds and muted orange. Thanks to Seacoast Harbor Events & Kivalo Photography for sharing this wedding styled shoot with us.
Since seasonality inspires me introducing oranges and kumquats was the perfect fit and offered a happy and chic approach to the china place settings. I paired boxwood trees and balls as perfect accents to the English countryside theme which added richness from the dark green evergreen colors. The flowers were housed in antique footed milk glass fruit bowls with collections of orange and of white ranunculus, magnolia leaves, orange tulips, rosemary, viburnum berries, delphiniums, and kumquats. We had the perfect day overlooking Mount Washington and the mountain scape in Norway, Maine at the Granite Ridge Estate and Barn. Complimented by fantastic models who were also a happily married couple celebrating their fourth wedding anniversary.
