If you had told me a few years ago that campground weddings and National Park weddings would become a popular trend I would have not believed it. But yes, it seems that couples are finding great inspiration from some of the most natural of settings, campgrounds! This couple decided to plan a DIY campground wedding filled with fun details! From the bride: We rented a campground on the shores of Lake Dillon in Summit County, Colorado as the site for our wedding. Over 50 people camped out for the weekend in tents and campers. We even had a little ‘vintage’ camper, aka The Love Shack, that we slept in for the weekend. Everything about the wedding was DIY. John made all the delicious food out of his local restaurant. I along with my mother and her wonderful friends worked hard months before the wedding on all the design elements seen throughout the venue. The day was complete with perfect weather, a smores’ bar, chalk-board mason jar glasses, a photo booth, and yard games!
