Taking place at the very rustic California wedding venue, Whispering Oaks Terrace, this wedding has a truly unique theme which I will let the bride describe in her own words! From the bride: Anyone that knows me will tell you that I’m not happy following the trend. I like to start new ones and push the envelope with my ideas. I had a few things that I knew would absolutely not be at our wedding, we would not be in a hotel banquet room, we would not have a buffet with not so delicious dry chicken and mashed potatoes that look that they were squeezed from a frosting tube, and we would not have chaffing dishes. I wanted something memorable and different, I wanted the wedding to be an experience for our guests rather than just another wedding. It wasn’t until we were sitting on our couch one night watching Water for Elephants for the millionth time when the light bulb came on and I said “Omg thats what we are doing!” This concept is a fine line between a fun circus out in a dirt field with dirty train cars, and the satin and pearls of the 1920’s. Thanks to Sweet Blooms Photography for sharing this sweet rustic wedding with us today.
