Think a rustic wedding only has to be planned using woodland colors like browns and green – think again! This farm style wedding showcases just how perfect using bright colors can be. Filled with unique wedding ideas such as a food truck for their wedding catering and a great streamer ceremony backdrop this wedding is not to miss. From the event designer: Rob and Sho spent their special day with family and friends on the family farm just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba. The ceremony was in a small intimate garden area on the property and the reception was in the front yard under a tent. Our favorite part of the night was the unique macaroon cake and home-made pie’s by family members on the dessert table. Thanks to Amanda Douglas Events and Luckygirl Wedding Photography for sharing this one-of-a-kind wedding with us today.
The reception incorporated a jewel toned color theme into the outdoor setting which created a great backdrop for this wedding that was all about family and friends and simply just celebrating the day.
For the dinner a local food truck catered delicious salads and mini sliders in the courtyard countryside. There were many DIY projects from a freezie stand for cocktail hour to keep the guests cool on the hot summer day, to table numbers that were photo of the couple in different places around the world that had significance to them, to the backdrop made from different colored streamers.
