Winter rustic weddings can be magical and amazing! This rustic wedding took place at the Utah wedding venue, Deer Valley Resort and is filled with beautiful winter wedding details resulting in a truly unique wedding. From the bride: We loved that it was a blizzard on our wedding day. A true freezing blizzard. It was so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Also, right as we were saying our vows it was snowing and the sleigh just happened to pull around the slope in the background and that was really neat to see. It was straight out of a movie. Also I loved all the candles and fire places. It was very cozy. I’m a huge fan of winter if you can’t tell. Thanks to Pepper Nix Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
We did a first look. We went back and forth on this topic for months and even up to a few days before the ceremony. Justin was pretty dead set on not seeing me before hand but I thought it would take some pressure off. Ultimately we went with it and are so happy we did. It gave us a bit to have some time to ourselves and it was nice just to be in the moment. I love looking at the pictures we have now of that time because they were so real and not forced. Plus, we didn’t want to take up time with our friends and family taking pics post ceremony.
