We love a good DIY wedding and this farm wedding will make you want to start planning your own rustic DIY wedding now! With a beautiful pink color theme and wonderful natural backdrop this wedding showcases everything we love about weddings in Vermont. From the photographer: Anya and Nic are two laid back individuals who like to have lots of fun and wanted to create an atmosphere where their guests could kickback and have a great time. The ladies were asked to select their own dresses within a hue range of pink and peach. The bouquets and flower decor were handpicked with love right from the farm’s u-pick flower gardens by the bride and her ladies. Thanks to Amy Donohue Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
The groom made the arbor from maple saplings. The couple chose maple syrup harvested themselves as a gift of appreciation to their guests. And, for the tiniest guests, the couple made sure to include a gift bag of items such as glow sticks, bubbles and temporary tattoos to keep them busy throughout the night. Farm to table catering was provided by the farm with on location roasted chicken, fresh heirloom caprese salad and honey wheat bread with maple butter made by the bride’s mother.
