DIY Intimate Rustic Fall Wedding

Lodge weddings always get to me. I think it has something to do with the fact that I started Rustic Wedding Chic 2008 when I was planning my own lodge wedding, so I always have a soft spot for this type of rustic event. From the photographer: Tucked away, (way away), in the Black Hills of South Dakota is a place called Lakota Lake Encampment. There sits a beautiful open garden and a rustic lodge that was built in the 1800s. On October 1st, it was filled with love and laughter for Bill and Jaima’s wedding day. The couple wanted a very intimate wedding in the Black Hills, so this venue was perfect for them. Guests stood around the garden as the couple was married in a simple yet beautiful ceremony. The lodge was decorated with fall details, pumpkins, birch, candles and lovely florals. The couples family did everything.
