Taking place at an animal reserve in Texas, Bree and Erik planned a one-of-a-kind rustic ranch wedding. Hosting their event at Pony Creek Ranch, a unique Texas wedding location, this wedding brings all the elegance of a ballroom wedding and matches it up with a location out in the middle of nowhere. From the bride: I was not the girl who had planned her wedding since the beginning of time, but I did have few ideas in mind. The things that were most important to me were, Good Music, Good Drinks, Good Food, Good Friends & Good Pictures. I also wanted something that was different, unique & possibly in the middle of nowhere! The moment my mom & I stepped foot on Pony Creek Ranch I knew that was the place! We have to thank the talented, Joseph Mark Photography for capturing this amazing wedding and sharing it with us.
I visioned an open air ceremony, but wanted the feel of church. We set up the doors to create the entrance for a pew lined aisle that lead to an altar that was created by mom on a table that was built by my aunt & uncle. The table was made of willow wood that was actually collected from the property where my mom grew up! The ceremony in my mind was to be simple, organic, with candles & greenery.
