Elegant & Rustic Barn Style Wedding: Leslee + Blake

So as we creep closer to the close of 2013 and I start to work on my Top 10 Favorites list for the year you can bet you will see this amazing elegant farm wedding show up. I really love every single detail from this wedding including the plant wedding favors and the amazing barn which acts as the perfect backdrop. What can I say, I am totally in awe of this entire wedding! From the bride: My wedding inspiration came mostly from my mom. I knew that together, she and I would be able to create something pretty darn special and that with men like my father, brother, and fiance (now husband, of course) any woodworking and heavy lifting would be taken care of and amazing as well. Blake and I knew from the start that we wanted our wedding day to be a celebration and feel like a comfortable get-together; not something super “schmancy” because that’s just not us. We were so blessed to have some family friends offer for us to have our wedding at their family’s barn on their ranch. It was pure magic. Our big day was a labor of love and we have some amazing friends that helped tremendously. It was perfect! My favorite moment was when I finally got a look at my handsome groom. I felt like I had been holding my breath all day waiting for that moment and it was so great when it finally arrived! My advice for future brides is to keep calm in the planning process and the day of because all that truly matters is that you get to marry your other half.
