This stunning Southern wedding took place in the backyard of the bride’s grandparent’s home in the heart of Kentucky. Family and southern tradition was the focus of the small affair. The couple wove many personal and sentimental details into the wedding, including Caroline wearing her grandmother’s garter and Jeremiah wearing his grandfather’s watch and they carved their initials into the tree from which her childhood swing hangs. The beautiful lace bridal gown was paired with a dramatic, lace embroidered veil held in place by a crown of Magnolia leaves and blossoms. Jeremiah sweetly surprised his bride before the wedding with a Kate Spade “Mrs.” necklace. The reception featured a bourbon tasting bar, and keeping with Southern folklore, the couple dug up a bottle of bourbon that was buried to insure clear weather for the wedding day.
