Taking place at a friend’s barn, this Illinois rustic wedding sure does make us want to count the days until Fall will come back around. From the bride: The barn was a dream of mine (and Josh loved the idea) so we started looking around. There aren’t a lot of public barn venues to choose from in the Peoria area, but luckily a family friend who was interested in using their old 1921 barn for weddings agreed to let us be the first ever to be married there. We both love rustic decor so we chose to use it as a theme for the wedding. Mason jars, burlap, and shotgun shells… for our centerpieces, I searched online for photos that were similar to the idea I had in my head and then my mom and I worked tirelessly to make those ideas come to life. Josh and I decided we wanted our guests to be comfortable so we picked a more casual, jeans and boots look. Thanks to Danielle Stewart Photography for sharing this wedding!
