When I first got a look at this wedding I became completely obsessed with it. I love the beautiful farm setting, the classic fall colors and the country chic overall feeling. This wedding was held at the bride’s family farm in Westminster, Maryland and offers not only a beautiful outdoor ceremony but also classic barn style reception. Look at the way that this wedding used lighting to enhance the look of the barn. By stringing small little white lights the barn goes from just being a normal space to an enchanted wedding venue. Many times when I fall in love with a wedding I break the featured wedding up into two parts but this wedding is so amazing that I had to show it off in three parts! Here in part I you get to see the over all look for this country farm wedding and tomorrow in part II & part III I will show off the details that really made this country chic farm wedding a winner.
I think this is the perfect real wedding to show off this week leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday since to me the ideal place to spend the holiday would be on a farm like this.
I love the way this couple chose to style the entrence to the barn. Not only is it fitting for the season but it also stays true to the barn’s sensibility. By having the right mix of natural elements you can compliment a setting like a barn and not try to compete with its natural beauty. The orange pumpkins, the fall mums and the hay bales all look beauty and natural in this farm setting.credits – photography: Brklyn View Photography / floral designer: The Buttersburg Inn / catering: A Gourmet Affair / wedding dress: Ann Hamilton Bridal / rental: Loane Brothers Inc

Thanks

April 16, 2012 at 2:40 pmWould the bride be willing to chat with me privately about the possibility of using her family’s farm for me wedding? This barn is absolutly perfect for what I am looking for and I am having such a hard time finding a venue. It would mean the world to me.

November 21, 2011 at 12:16 pmThe flower girls are so cute in their hair wreaths! They didn’t have to do much to transform this location – it’s beautifully rustic as is.
