Family Farm Southern Wedding: Kate + Bradley

Filled with chic country DIY wedding projects and a friendly farm location this bride and groom tied the knot on the bride’s family farm in Alabama. From the photographer: Bradley and Kate’s rustic, country wedding at Kate’s family’s farm in the south Alabama town of Hybart was a perfect representation of the couple and their love for each other, their families, and everything southern. Their ceremony took place in the front yard of Kate’s childhood home, where her parents still reside. Guests were seated on hale bales and rustic benches handmade by the groom. The bride and her bridesmaids wore cowgirl boots and carried bundles of gorgeous yellow sunflowers and pops of color with a variety of other flowers all wrapped with a simple burlap bow. Cotton wreaths, blackeyed peas, and quilts added to the southern charm of this rustic, country wedding. The reception took place on more of Kate’s family’s property right across from Kate’s father’s wheat field. The bride and groom and their guests enjoyed dinner and socializing in the open pavilion as the sun set. Thanks to Erin Lindsey Photography for sharing this stunning wedding with us today.
