Melanie & Will’s Hampstead Wedding was thoroughly inspired by the importance of family through inclusion of heirlooms and traditions at every turn. To begin with, the bride wore her mothers veil and her brooches on her bouquet were passed down from her grandmother. For the ceremony, to honor the bride’s father who passed away five years ago, she walked herself halfway down the aisle where she was met by her stepfather who walked her the rest of the way. Melanie and Will then exchanged the same vows their parents did beneather an arch built by the her stepdad. At the reception, they used a cake topper was that had been used on the bride’s grandparents’, parents’, and aunt’s wedding cakes. To top it all off, even some of the food at the reception was made using family recipes! Thank you to Chanterelle Photography for the beautiful images, as always!
