Rachel & Ben had a totally gorgeous destination on a farm in Irish countryside. Beautiful pastels accented the entire day, to make for a wedding that is so easy on the eyes. We love the tissue paper puffs strung up at the reception as much as we love the pastel confetti tossed at the end of the ceremony. The sprigs of lavender flowers that adorned each napkin were a beautiful natural touch. Polaroids taken at the wedding were strung up along a map on the wall representing all of their international guests. Rachel and Ben are from Ireland and England, even though they met and still reside in Australia. The diverse cultures that this wedding combined was evidenced by the sweets table, where classic Australian treats could be washed down with ice cold Guinness! This wedding combines classic vintage farm elegance with industrial minimalism with playful pastel party flair to make for a truly stunning destination wedding. Lisa O’Dwyer Photography captured it all so beautifully using good old fashioned film, so we have her to thank for these great photographs!

September 24, 2013 at 12:32 pmThank you so much for featuring this wedding! It was definitely one of my favorites ever that I have photographed! All of the pastels in this wedding really photographed well using traditional film. And I think it really created an artistic and nostalgic feeling to their photographs.
