Kelly and James wanted their wedding and reception to reflect their love of rustic barns, beautiful country landscapes and most of all each other. Talon Winery and Vineyard in Lexington KY was the perfect fit. Turquoise, her late grandmother’s favorite color, was the color of choice for the bridesmaid dresses, the brides cowboy boots and even found its way onto polka dot wine glasses. Arriving in a horse drawn carriage to the ceremony, Kelly was the picture of a gorgeous country bride. James, who was stationed in Afghanistan for much of their courtship, embraced the fun of the day sporting a large silver belt buckle and his cowboy hat. The reception, in the large wedding barn on the grounds, stayed true to its country roots with line dancing. Thanks to Sur La Lune Photography for sharing this wonderful country wedding with us.
